Healy Ford is one of the few Ford Dealers nationwide to be involved in Ford Motor Company's SVT Program since its inception in Canada in 1996.

SVT was commissioned to create factory-produced drivers' cars and trucks, vehicles that possess a balance between engine and chassis, roadholding and a supple ride, refinement and performance capability. These qualities are the core of the SVT product development philosophy.

A key element in the SVT program is its special dealer body. Of the 4,900 Ford dealers in the United States, Canada and Mexico, only a handful are certified to represent SVT, less than 25 in Canada. To be one of those dealers, Healy Ford must have high customer satisfaction ratings, go through annual in-depth technical seminars, training in customer-care techniques specific to the enthusiast driver, and instruction in car control and performance driving. To support SVT, Ford Motor Company created a dedicated product development group.
